課程說明
本門課程主旨在於培養學生閱讀進階英文文章的能力。鑑於台灣學生在閱讀進階文章時，最常遇到的困難之一在於文法，因此本堂課的學習重心，將放在高階文章中，進階文法的解構與說明。本門課上課以閱讀高階文章為目標，以解釋及說明文章內的進階文法為主軸，以協助有相關需求的學生克服高階文章閱讀時的高階文法問題。
The course targets at assisting students in comprehending academic papers and articles of advanced English from prestigious publishers such as The New York Times by informing learners of advanced grammar and related English learning tips that helps learners achieve the goal. Learners will be assigned readings of advanced and academic English and introduced to major advanced grammar in the writings such as participle words and phrases that have made comprehend academic articles challenging for Taiwan students. Learners are expected to improve their overall advanced English proficiency by comprehending Advanced English articles and learning advanced English grammar at the same time. Exercises and practices are also included in the course plan. English will be the major working language while Mandarin will also be deployed in explaining grammar terms and notions.
