課程說明

本主題式課程旨在引導學生解讀圖表中所呈現的數據與信息，並善用句型與詞彙來練習描述圖表。
此課程涵蓋常見圖表的類型與特性，引導學生檢視常見的句型與書寫英文。透過範例解析、填字與造句練習、圖表寫作的架構（介紹、解說、評論等）、動筆寫作等活動，增進解讀與描寫圖表的英文能力。
The 8-hour summer session aims to help students

1. identify the types of graphs and charts and the information in them
2. generate and organize the ideas (features, trends, comparisons)
3. make the most of common expressions and sentence structures
4. practice writing about graphs and charts

Please note that this session is designed for a general purpose, not exclusively for academic or occupational purposes.
※課程包含講授與討論，講授部分中、英文並行，討論部分以中文為主。
The workshop contains lectures and discussions. The lecture is offered mainly in English, while the discussion is conducted mainly in Chinese.
※每次課程有句型、詞彙或段落寫作練習，學員可自行於課後練習。
Exercises on sentence patterns, vocabulary, and paragraph writing will be offered for students to practice after each session.
※提供每次上課錄影、投影片等，學員可於工作坊結束後下載。
The lecture videos and slides will be ready for downloading after all the sessions are completed.
※本工作坊使用TEAMS遠距授課。The workshop is offered online, on TEAMS

※學生如有本校核發的Office365帳號 (@office365.nthu.edu.tw)，可直接以課程代碼登入課程。
Students who have Office 365 accounts issued by National Tsing Hua University may join the online class using the team code.
※沒有本校Office365帳號者，教師於上課前會將學員報名使用的電子郵件加入課程，以便學員收到上課連結。
The teacher will add the email accounts of the students to this online workshop before emailing the link to the sessions.
