課程說明

本課程為寫作工作坊，以文本分析和寫作慣例，引導學生檢視改善既有之求職文件並進行修編。課程第四週提供個別寫作諮詢。This workshop will guide students to examine and refine their English resumes and cover letters, incorporating appropriate writing conventions, specific statements with behavior examples and transferable skills, to highlight their best qualifications. A session of writing consultation is also provided.
※ 課前預備：學生上傳已有的英文求職文件，以利蒐集並評估學生既有寫作問題。
※ Preparation: Students upload their existing resumes and/or cover letters prior to the workshop for the text analysis and assessment.
※ 作業：學生依據按教學內容修編既有英文求職文件。
※ Homework: Student revise and edit their own employment documents based on what they have absorbed from this workshop.
※ 寫作諮詢：接受諮詢的對象為願意以本工作坊教授方法修編的學生，並依個人意願和登記順序於第四週進行諮詢。恕不接受未進行修編者、或個別要求欲提前或課後進行諮詢者。
※ Writing Consultation: The consultation is provided in Week 4 for students who have revised and edited their employment documents based on the instruction in the workshop. The documents that are not refined yet, or any request on moving the consultation ahead of or behind Week 4 will NOT be accepted.
※ 課程包含講授與討論，講授部分以中文為主、輔以英文，課堂練習和學生修編須以英文
※ This course will be lectured mainly in Chinese, partly in English. Student’s writing practice, and revising and editing MUST be proceeded in English.
