課程說明
想理解新聞英文如何下標?如何寫出流暢又吸睛的新聞導言?
上完這個工作坊,希望同學能:
1. 認識新聞標題的特殊句法,能為新聞下吸睛的標題。
2. 認識導言的句法結構,能為英文新聞寫出精彩的導言。
3. 增進對新聞英文句型與特殊語法的掌握。
4. 透過討論與分析時事議題的相關報導,掌握新聞英文報導架構,學習各領域專門術語,累積英文詞彙。
5. 提升英文閱讀與寫作技巧,豐富寫作詞彙,累積文法知識。
※ 課程包含講授與討論:講授部分以英文為主,中文為輔。討論部分鼓勵使用英文。
※ 每堂課皆有課堂練習或課後練習,同學須參與。
含作業量、習作頻率等。例如:「偶有短篇寫作練習」
After this workshop, I hope my students can:
1. Master the special structure of English news headlines
2. Get to know various types of leads and are able to write effective ones for a news article.
3. Increase the understanding of use of grammar and special sentence structure in the news articles.
4. Through discussion and analysis of news article or feature stories of current issues, grasp different styles and structures of news writing. Accumulate the knowledge of terms in diverse fields and increase general vocabularies.
5. Greatly increase English reading and writing skills; enrich grammar and word choices.
* Students participation in online activities and completion of assignments are required.
* The lecture will be conducted in both English and Chinese. Chinese is allowed in discussion.
