課程說明
本課程教學目標在於培養學生的進階英文閱讀能力，藉由教授字彙與閱讀技巧，使學生能在英文閱讀中運用所學技巧，以培養學生快速掌握英文文章內容與重點的能力。本期課程重點優先放在字根字首等字彙與閱讀根本技巧，從基本掌握整體英文字彙的認識與記憶。本課程旨在幫助學生增加字彙實力，練習閱讀技巧，進而提升英文文章閱讀速度與效率。課程將同時以英文與中文進行。
The course aims to build up students’ English capabilities and proficiency in reading comprehension. Students will achieve the aim by being guided to read texts with applying reading and vocabulary skills such as prefix, suffix, skimming, scanning, and so forth. Students will learn to be quick to get main ideas, important details of each text to complete a reading with efficiency and at speed. Vocabulary in each text will also be tacitly comprehended without obstructing reading efficiency. Through the scheduled reading practices, students will be equipped with reading comprehension capabilities required for advanced English reading.
