課程說明
課程內容包括:
(1) 認識頭條的文法與常見的特殊短詞，理解頭條的意思。
(2) 透過時事話題與真實語料，學習媒體的專門術語，常用詞彙以及新聞特有的筆調。
(3) 學習寓意深刻的歷史、文學、聖經和希臘羅馬神話的典故詞。
(4) 學習新聞常見的生動隱喻。
(5) 增進閱讀報章雜誌的技巧。
This course is designed to build on students' reading skills and expand their vocabulary and knowledge of rhetorical devices. Training in reading is aimed at inferring word meaning from context, identifying contextual clues, and grasping main ideas.
※課程講授以英文進行。English is the medium of instruction.
※每堂課皆有指定作業。Students participation in classroom activities and completion of assignments are required.
