課程說明
本課程教學主旨在於培養學生的英文字彙能力與英文閱讀技巧；同時提升學生整體英文能力。課程內容除了進行字彙與閱讀技巧的講解教授之外，同時提供習題作為兩種類型技巧的練習與應用，或提供實際文章閱讀，作為閱讀與字彙技巧的運用場域。上課以中英文相佐為主。
The course aims to build up learners’ English strength in reading and vocabulary skills so as to improve their proficiency in reading comprehension and overall English abilities. The instructions focus on development of essential ideas of vocabulary and reading skills such as prefix and suffix, word family, collocation, and more. These skills will not only help learners enrich their vocabulary, beautify their uses of words and formation of sentences as well as improve their reading and listening comprehension. Practices and drills of the taught skills are also scheduled by giving exercises and assignments. The course will be conducted mainly in English yet interwoven with Chinese translation for text and grammar explanation.
